Year-end Letter 2021
Charles, Buffy, and Halo Wimmer | October 2021
Friends of Collaborative:
It is hard to believe that a little over 6 years ago we embarked on a new journey in our 40th year of marriage to covenant with God and start Collaborative Counseling. Our mission was simple, to encourage and counsel those who needed hope and comfort through professional, faith-based counseling methods. God has honored our covenant with him as we have seen our client base grow each year from 370 client hours in our first year to over 1200 client hours by the end of 2021!
This year, through our Collaborative Care Fund we have helped serve those without financial means to subsidize over 190 client hours representing $11,900 of counseling benevolence. Our “collaborative” approach in the community has proved successful in developing relationships with churches, para-church organizations, secular venues, and growing referrals for individual assessments, trauma therapy, couples counseling, mentoring, and peer-to-peer relationships with those with addictions and mental illness. Buffy and I are thankful for the role that each of you has played in the success of Collaborative through your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We invite you to continue with us in reaching a goal of $15,000 needed to continue offering the Collaborative Care benevolence program into 2022.
Please consider a year-end donation that will go to provide the care and therapy that individuals and couples desperately need during these uncertain times. You can also make a general contribution to CCG as we prayerfully look to grow the counseling practice and are excited about new opportunities in the coming year!
May this Holiday season be a blessing for you and your family. Please know that we are incredibly grateful for you and your support in this ministry.
Blessings, For All of Life…
