Group Therapy

Group therapy is provided two to four times a year.
Buffy leads women in Search for Significance by Robert McGee to discover their identity. These sessions are 12 weeks for 1 ½ hours. Reservations are encouraged since the groups will be limited to 6-10 women. This course will also be offered to the greater public and not just current clients. Buffy will also provide group therapy for individuals who have family members who have mental illness (BiPolar, Depression, Anxiety) or for those whose lives have been touched by suicide. These groups will have additional therapist who will help facilitate. Charles uses the 12-step recovery model to aid men of all ages in recovery from mental illness, addictions, emotional as well as identity issues. Charles is also certified in, and will train any individual wanting to become a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich. He will provide said training four times a year. Collaborative Counseling Presents: Hope In The Heartbreak ***NEW GROUP STARTS FEBRUARY 28, 2017 Hope In The Heartbreak is a confidential support group to help women find hope and healing as they work through the anger and betrayal of a spouse/partner who struggles with sexual integrity issues including pornography and infidelity. When: Join us for 10 weeks beginning Feb. 28th 6:30-8 pm. Location: Collaborative Counseling in Ft. Mill. 1838 Gold Hill Rd. This will be led by Buffy Wimmer, MACC, LPC and co-led by Melissa Gullickson. We will work through the book A L.I.F.E. Guide for Spouses by Melissa Haas. The cost for the group is $110.00 per week or if paid in full $480.00 at the first meeting. The workbook should be purchased before the first meeting.
